Our Village Learning Centre team recognizes how challenging the after school hours can be with extra-curricular activities, family commitments and busy work schedules. This is why we try to meet everyone’s needs, not only in terms of education, but by also providing flexible scheduling and location options.
Parents also have the option of having their child share the lesson with a sibling or friend, for a small additional cost. Overall, this option can save families both time and expense!

Don’t allow distance, work or weather get in the way of your child’s education. Let our qualified tutors teach your children within the comfort of your own home!

“If you can’t come to us we’ll come to you!”

With the 2:1 Ratio, students share the session with another student. While a tutor explains concepts to one student the other continues to work on his or her own. Having another student present can be a positive motivational factor.

With the 1:1 Ratio, a student works directly with a tutor getting a great deal of individualized attention.

In our In-Home tutoring sessions, students receive session progress reports. Following every lesson, the tutor will take the time to complete a progress report, which will be available to parents online for registered students. This will often include information regarding specific topics taught or reviewed in addition to comments or recommendations made by your child’s tutor. Space will also be provided for parents or students to write comments back to the tutor if desired.  In this manner, progress may be monitored in order to maximize each student’s academic results.

Once sessions are completed, the student will receive a final report from the Village Learning Centre.
